Tips on preventing Showrooming

Retailers need to actually connect with their customers through understanding what drives them to purchase. The best way to do this is to collect customer data at the POS such as email, mailing address and birthday. Once you add this information to the POS transaction information, you have a powerful tool to help you decide which offer to communicate to your customer. If they just purchased a dress from a particular brand or label, send the customer an email to advise them that some new accessories are available from that brand.
