Retail Express supports MYOB AccountRight online for automated cloud sync. For retailers using MYOB Desktop or older versions, we provide a manual Accounting Data Export feature that generates compatible import files.

The integration syncs daily service sales (including laybys and vouchers), payment receipts, service purchases for received POs and general journals for stock adjustments and transfers.

The Retail Express MYOB integration uses the accrual accounting method. This ensures that retail sales and purchases are recorded when they occur, providing a more accurate picture of your business performance.

You can assign MYOB Jobs to each of your Retail Express stores. This allows you to track income and expenses for each individual location within a single MYOB company file.

To ensure correct mapping of customer deposits and refunds, you need to enable deposit tracking in your MYOB settings and link your Trade Debtors account before connecting to Retail Express.

You can review all synced data in MYOB under the Sales, Purchases and Accounts transaction journals. We recommend using the Retail Express Financial Summary Report to cross-check your totals.
